Approaching Neverland is the story of a family growing up in the 60′s and 70′s that deals with their mother’s mental illness, the murder of a sibling, gender identification, Alzheimers and AIDS with unconditional compassion, sick Irish humor and unbreakable family bonds. In the midst of all this tragedy and loss, the main character finds undying love and her happily-ever-after.
