Monthly Archives: January 2010
Just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all the great folks who braved the torrential downpour this past Wednesday to make it to my book event at Towne Center Books in Pleasanton. The storm was so bad that several trees were uprooted at Pleasanton BART!
Judy Wheeler, owner of Towne Center Books, made us all feel cozy and welcome with homemade cranberry nut bread, muffins, coffee and tea. Our enthusiastic crowd had a fantastic discussion about families and mental illness. It was one of my favorite book events to date.
Thanks again to all who came!
I’m very excited to have just formed the Approaching Neverland Team for the 2010 NamiWalk in San Francisco on May 22. Join us to help raise money for families dealing with mental illness by joining our team and creating your own page
Hope you can come to one of my East Bay book events for Approaching Neverland: Jan. 20, 10:30 am, Towne Center Books, 555 Main St, Pleasanton, or Feb. 18, 7:00 pm, Books, Inc., 1760 Fourth St., Berkeley. Would LOVE to see you there!
If you have tried to reach me this past month, I apologize for not getting back to you. Turns out the ‘contact me’ form on my website is screwed up. I’m in the process of getting it fixed, but if you have tried to reach me and haven’t heard back, please contact me directly via my email address at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Have a wonderful 2010. And thanks for taking Approaching Neverland into your hearts 🙂
